  1. Thank you for the comment. I have found that in today’s economy, it is necessary to broaden the mind on how one can make home improvements, inexpensively and with no tools. Not too long ago I had a house to sell and when I sat in the car, I took a good look from the curb. How often does anyone really do that? I saw several things that needed some attention and updating, to ensure that anyone passing by would definitely want to look further and buy this house. After tending to the landscape, the old beaten mailbox really stood out! I was selling the house, so why buy a brand new, fancy mailbox? There had to be something easier for me, but is there any quick solution? Looking to the internet to find help with any ideas, I came across a cover, that would appear to hide my mailboxes wear.

I have to admit, I had to do some research on covers, not knowing there are so many out there. What type of Mailbox wrap or cover do I want: fabric, vinyl, magnetic or tie on, with a design or not? I found many, but just by the look and touch, a fabric cover was not for me. So I went looking for the plastic mailbox covers. Did you know there are different thicknesses of mailbox covers? I found that out with the first cover I bought that was kind of thin. The sun, in just a few weeks, started to dry out the mailwrap and it began to fade plus turn brittle. This was not looking good for the curb appeal to sell the house. So I had to keep searching for higher quality cover, since the idea of it was good.

Just for kicks I found a Lighthouse MailWrap that was addressable, thinking that it would be what I needed to draw the female eye, plus it had large numbers to identify the address to everyone. I had a metal mailbox, so the one I found, a magnetic mailwrap, seemed perfect. Once I got this on the mailbox, the neighbors wanted to know all about this incredible change that took place, with no effort, no real amount of time to complete, or much even money! I am always searching for higher quality items for myself, at a great price, and it felt good that the neighbors noticed my mailbox. I found that MailWraps Magnetic Mailbox Covers Brand was just the thing and seemed to have everything I needed. A mailbox cover that would last, one that looks great (as they have so many designs for almost every interest), a cover that would hold up to the sun, rain, and wind, and could be applied by anyone. Just when holding the product to place it on my ugly mailbox, I felt the difference from the prior one. It took a couple days for the sun to warm up this Lighthouse Mailwrap so that it could lay perfectly flat, but once it did, I was back in business and looking sharp.

From personal experience, I would definitely recommend MailWraps Magnetic Mailbox Covers to anyone! The cost of around $20 was well worth it. Best of all, if the new owners do not like that design, they can simply remove it to be replaced by one they really want or they can replace the mailbox at their leisure. But until they do, it still looked great when anyone arrived to the house. With them being new to the neighborhood, this made a great “landmark” for the new owners friends & family to quickly spot their home too.

I have just rattled on….. lol. Oh well, I am just happy I found a great product and want to share it with anyone who might be interested. Who knew that making an inexpensive change like this Lighthouse Mailbox Cover, would be a huge thing to boost the first impression visitors can have when arriving to the house.

If anyone has any questions about these mailwraps, please feel free to ask! Of course, you can check out the linked site that provides these covers too! It would be appreciated. There is one for just about anyone and would be a great, unique gift for that hard to buy for person, someone like me.. lol. Take care.
